At Parkstone Karate, the health and wellbeing of our students, their families and our staff is always our upmost priority and especially at this particular time. We are keeping a close eye on the latest public health guidelines regarding on the management of COVID-19 known as Coronavirus.
Please can we ask that you do not come into the dojo if you are feeling unwell and have any of the symptoms of Coronavirus or have been in contact with anyone who has had coronavirus or displayed any symptoms of the virus however minor they may have appeared. If you have travelled abroad recently please check the governments advice on protocol for returning travellers. For any information on the symptoms, what to do if you think you may have Coronavirus or any travel advice please visit the government website (link below).
We have introduced regular hygiene processes that are designed to stop the spread of germs and prevent the transmission of infectious illnesses. These processes include thoroughly disinfecting and cleaning down surfaces in “high traffic” areas (in addition to the regular cleaning already carried out at each dojo location). Students and instructors will be encouraged to thoroughly clean their hands before and after each class. Hand sanitiser gel will be available but may have to be rationed given the ongoing supply issues.
We will minimise hand to hand contact between everyone in the dojo by concentrating on practising basic techniques and kata.
Thank you for your understanding at this uncertain time. We are sure you are aware that the situation is constantly changing, we are keeping up with the UK governments advice and will update you should anything change.
Please do not hesitate to speak to Sensei Andy should you have any questions or concerns.
With best wishes
Sensei Andy and the instructor team.
